Neil honestly was the best. The rest of the scene (after this clip) made me wish I had Neil as a friend when I was a kid. Norman snagged a good one. 

One of my favorite things about this movie was how low-key Norman was as a character. Like, his ability wasn’t his defining personality trait: he was just a regular kid who happened to be able to speak to ghosts, and he was self-aware of the fact that, yeah, it makes him weird to other people. He didn’t really like drawing attention to himself, which sort of goes against the grain for a main character, especially a titular one.
